Do You Let Fear Of Change Dominate Your Ability Of Life

Fear sometimes keeps an individual from doing something that could change their life for the good forever, yet it is sometimes hard to recognize, control and overcome. One of the greatest fears is rejection. We do not want to feel rejection so sometimes we will not follow our heart because of it. We also fear inadequacy not realizing that failure is a part of life. If we had no failure, we would be at a perfect state in life and that does not exist. Adjustments in life are many and about many conditions of our life to include but not limited to; relationships, careers, personal growth, becoming a better person, changing our concept of life, spiritual growth, learning how to cope with a disabled child, letting our kids fight their own battles and many other situations in life. We could discuss this issue very extensively but we will actually touch only a couple of things in this article.

I have seen parents have fears for their children and they want them to have the best, the absolute best, meaning no hardships, no interference in life, nothing to upset them; and I am talking about grown children. If something negative happens or someone says something they feel is prejudiced toward them, they are ready to jump into the battle without being invited. They have never let go and they need to let the Rejection thoughts subside and change their behavior. The children are not under their watch any longer and they cannot go through their entire life trying to fight life’s battles for their children. No one can make it through life without having conflict and no one’s children deserve this behavior and they are not enabling their abilities to cope with life. They will have struggles and they will have to work through them, themselves; and remember that to live in our world as it is; this is a phase of life where we learn about ourselves and others.

I am sure there is no perfect formula to prevent the fear of change or failure or the other emotions we feel. What I do know and have learned; is that when we make a decision to do something we fear; it gives us the power and capacity to do it. It is like once we make the decision and we become fully equipped to make it happen, so that means that our biggest fear is not that we can’t make it happen, but in wondering if it is the right judgment.

We could use as an example an unhappy partner needs to make a change regarding finances in the relationship. The situation is causing frustration and bickering; tearing them away inside and it has to be stopped. The guilty spouse is simply spending loads of money depleting their saving and being wasteful. The not guilty party is trying to be level headed and fears that the guilty party is being selfish yet knows this can’t be said; so they let it go. Where and how it is going to be resolved must be decided and acted upon.

First decision needed is to tackle the fear of confronting the issue with the guilty one which appears to be biggest issue. Being afraid it will only make things worse and be of no usefulness , does not make it go away. So if it is not resolved, it will become more intense and harder to repair. What exist sometimes is the approach and the method used to confront an issue of this nature and then sometimes it doesn’t matter how it is confronted; it doesn’t work. That is when an intervention of professional help could be deferment in a situation like this. It may be easy to work through but if you don’t try, you will not know and this stands true with any given change in ones life. We have to begin before we can resolve. We have to see the need to change before we take action, but we must take action. Once we see the need and let go of the fear we can find an alternative that may work. There is nothing in life that can’t be resolved with some kind of solution, it might not be what we desire, but not trying is the greatest failure.

Personal Progress -Change Is About Self Discipline And For Those Who Need It!

Personal growth or personal development means many different things to each of us. We are all different individuals and it takes a wise person to see they might have flaws and need to growth or change in some of their actions. Personal growth is about us and our expectations of us. The most important aspect of personal growth is how you feel about yourself. Do you see yourself relating to others, be it family, friends or co-workers appropriately? Are you living your life totally, completely and in line with how you think you should? Are you happy with how you deal with life or do you see yourself needing to change some things? Positive Changes does not indicate we are necessarily bad. It does not mean that we are debilitated in our life or living an inappropriate life but that we want to live a more durable life.

Another individual cannot tell you that you are in need of Personal Growth. It is a conscious decision that one makes for ones self. Opposition is part of deciding if this is where we need to go. Sometimes we see the need to grow when life has thrown us a curve and we can’t get back on track, we need to learn something about whom we are and why we are reacting the way we are. Sometimes it is about success in our life; success we do not think that we have. We are not where we want to be and we need help to remove the obstacles that seem to be standing in the way.

I have seen very egotistical people who seemed to think they know all the right ways and it is their way or no way. It seems that the people who need personal growth the most are carrying around baggage and do not even realize it. They are baffled, intolerant and suspicious of others or they would not be trying to prove they know it all. No one knows it all, not today, not yesterday nor will they tomorrow. It does not matter how intelligent one is; it is how they relate themselves to other people. They think everyone else is lacking and they feel all of their expertise is being wasted. When in all actuality; their expertise is not visible due to their attitude.

To see the need for personal growth means you are seeking either recovery or possibly purification from something or someone. Maybe it is only that you need to change the way you perceive something that has changed you life. Influencing your self awareness can’t be all bad. It actually means you have depth of wanting to beautify your soul. You could be doing everything suitably and everybody is happy, including yourself, but in reality; probably not. I am afraid that not many of us are happy all the time. Life isn’t all wine and roses and happiness is a frame of mind and begins within us like everything else….how many time have I said all of this begins within us?

If we are happy the way we are it means we have comprehended something very important. When we get to this state in our life and we feel a sense of accomplishment; it bring contentment and a feeling of being at peace with ourselves and others.

Seeing As Change Is Inevitable, Why Not Embrace It?

The issue with change is not so much what we think of change, but rather how we react to change. In all honesty, there are probably few words that throw up such a kaleidoscope of emotions and differing interpretations for us.

In some ways, change is exciting. We all want our lives to improve, after all, there is no progress without change. However, the word also holds some very negative connotations.

If you look up synonyms for ‘changeable’ you will find words such as: ‘volatile’, ‘uncertain’, ‘unsettled’, ‘unstable’. All of those can make us feel ‘insecure’, ‘vulnerable’ and ‘unsure’.

There is a part of us which likes to feel secure and safe and change clearly goes against that. However, after change has occurred, we very often call it ‘progress’, ‘evolution’, ‘advancement’ or ‘growth’; words which bring out far more positive emotions from within us.

Therefore, it appears that it is not change itself that scares us so much as the transition process that it entails. We like the stability of things as they are ‘now’. Now feels safe because we know what to expect.

Perhaps it is not change that we fear so much as the loss of control that we associate with change. Change inherently carries an element of risk. Sometimes that fear, that perceived risk, is so daunting that it prevents us making changes that we need to despite our unhappiness with our current situation.

At the other end of the scale, there are times when we have probably all been guilty of making changes just for the sake it. We change our hair color, we change the layout of our bedroom, we may even change jobs.

I used to change jobs every 4 months, as I couldn’t find the ‘right job’ for me. At some level, I believed that when I found the ‘right job’ I would be happy. However, it was then pointed out to me that you can move to the moon if you want but nothing will really change because you are still taking ‘You’ with you.

Why do we do that? We do it to distract ourselves from making the changes in our life that really matter. In reality, it might be our choice of career that is making us unhappy, but we will change the color of our hair ‘just to make ourselves feel better’, because that is an ‘easy change’.

Seeing as change is inevitable, why not embrace it, analyze it and use it? Use it as an opportunity to measure what your life, and course correct. Seize change as your key to success. How else are we going to grow?

As a final point, I will give you a quote by Charles Darwin: “It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent, but the one most responsive to change.”

Man, Are We Ready For A Change. How?

Title: “Are You Ready”

Eph 1:10-14
10 “that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth—in Him.”
Are You Ready—are you born again? Do you have the peace of His coming or are we confessing just so we will be right? Have we really found that it is about being faithful to Him, not anything else? If you’re faithful to Him He won’t let you be unfaithful to anything else.
11 “In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will, 12 that we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory. “

We have a preset life of provision: Spiritually, Soully, and Physically. We MUST CHOOSE, FIND OUT HOW TO WALK IN THE WAY. So we can see His word produced in us and our lives.

13 “In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, 14 who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.”

You have a friend, oh such a friend. He is a person and acts exactly like God the Father and Jesus the Son, and HE is here in us and with us. Do you really think you can get to know HIM so HE can lead and guide you into all truth? Or are you just going to use your intellect?
We have received an inheritance!!! Do we know this inheritance??

If we hope Jesus is coming later we have a problem with HIM. Do we? Do we understand what we really are and our stewardship? Knowing thoroughly Our home in Heaven and the stewardship here.

Promise

Luke 18:1-14
1 “Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart,”
Believing isn’t enough. We can believe and be so troubled in heart. SPEND TIME WITH GOD, HE WANTS TO SPEND TIME WITH YOU.
2 “saying: ‘There was in a certain city a judge who did not fear God nor regard man. 3 Now there was a widow in that city; and she came to him, saying, ‘Get justice for me from my adversary.’ 4 And he would not for a while; but afterward he said within himself, ‘Though I do not fear God nor regard man, 5 yet because this widow troubles me I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.’ ”
6 Then the Lord said, “Hear what the unjust judge said. 7 And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? 8 I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?”
It is SAID by the Word that God will have revenge so quit sweating it and pray that they get saved. And let God also kill your own sin: your real enemy–covetousness, self-righteousness, vindication, fear, doubt. Keep your love good so you don’t become bitter. I didn’t say let sin continue but how are you operating in your heart, mixed motives? WHY DID JESUS PUT A STATEMENT THAT, “WILL THE SON OF MAN FIND FAITH ON THE EARTH?,” AFTER THIS PARABLE AND BEFORE THE NEXT ONE? WHAT IS HE SAYING IN PUTTING A STATEMENT OUT OF THE BLUE BETWEEN TWO PARABLES?
Love

Do we have that God-kind-of-faith that trusts HIM in all things!!! Having forgiveness in our hearts and HE has the judgement to bring. Do we trust HIM enough to take away our hatred! Do we trust HIM enough not to hate! Do we trust HIM enough to take away our fear, our doubt! Do we trust HIM enough not to fear!!!!

The Parable of the Pharisee and the Tax Collector

9 Also He spoke this parable to some who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others: 10 “Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. 11 The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, ‘God, I thank You that I am not like other men—extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this tax collector. 12 I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I possess.’ 13 And the tax collector, standing afar off, would not so much as raise his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me a sinner!’ 14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.”

Sometimes we want things to be so right, especially after receiving faith and tasting God’s goodness but we forget about what it takes to save and what that was to save us. WE FORGOT OR DON’T REALLY KNOW HOW MUCH THE LOVE OF GOD WAS TO US. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS TO GOD IN THIS CONSTUCT. IT’S ALL HIS CROSS AND DEATH FOR ME PERSONALLY AND LET THAT BE FOR EVERYONE ELSE. DON’T LET HATRED LIVE IN YOU, ME.
THE SPIRIT OF THE PHARISEES
1.) THEY BELIEVE IN GOD, AND ARE SURE OF IT AND HIS JUDGEMENTS.
2.) THEY BELIEVE IN THE MESSIAH, EVEN THOUGH THEY MIGHT NOT KNOW HIM FOR SURE. THEY ARE SURE OF IT.
3.) THEY BELIEVE IN THE PROMISES OF GOD AND KNOW THAT THEY ARE TRUE. AND THEY HAVE A REASONING FOR THEM TO WORK.
4.) THEY KNOW THEY ARE OF GOD AND THEY LIKE THEIR POSTION.
But the spirit of a pharisee will not deal directly with God who humbled himself. He will reject the God on a straight on Confrontation unless it’s his way. They will kill the promise of God in any area if it isn’t their way of getting it. A God who really does,(God humbles HIS OWNSELF TO LOVE AND BE WITH US).
The pharisee will not deal with being saved in whole or in an area because it doesn’t matter: I’m a pharisee, I don’t have to deal with my sin.
The pharisee believes in the promises of God but when they really, really, have to humble themselves to love God and man to receive them they will kill the promises.
The ‘Word’ says because they were afraid of their ‘Positions’ they crucified the Son of God. We think He is just a man when He says, ‘Love your Enemy’ and we Crucify Him because of our position.
The Lord gave me a WORD. HE Said, “His people are seeing His word come to their lips and then fall to the ground. And if you are tired of His word falling to the ground in your life. He said, “Don’t rule any man.” Make sure you have this in your heart.
Hebrews 11:1-6
Faith is not just believing it can be done but BELIEVING WHAT GOD SAID HE WILL DO IN YOUR LIFE!
1 “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 2 For by it the elders obtained a good testimony.”
—-Being the proof of things we do not see and the conviction of their reality.
inheritance

3 “By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible. “
Faith at the Dawn of History

4 “By faith Abel offered to God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, through which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts; and through it he, being dead, still speaks.”
5 “By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, “and was not found, because God had taken him;” for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God. 6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”
ARE YOU DILIGENT WHEN YOU HAVE A REAL LOVE, A REAL RELATIONSHIP THAT GROWS? DO YOU HAVE THAT KIND OF RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD? HE WANT’S ONE WITH YOU. ARE YOU DILIGENT FOR HIM OR STUFF? WHICH ONE IS IT?

If we ask for things, not from lust in our heart, we will receive them if they are acording to HIS WILL.
